SHORT BIOGRAPHY

Michael L. Nelson is a professor of computer science at Old Dominion University (ODU) and the Virginia Modeling, Analysis, and Simulation Center (VMASC). Prior to joining ODU, he worked at NASA Langley Research Center from 1991-2002. He is a co-editor of the OAI-PMH, OAI-ORE, Memento, and ResourceSync specifications. He co-leads the Web Science and Digital Libraries Research Group, with 6 faculty members and 20+ graduate students. More information about Dr. Nelson can be found at http://www.cs.odu.edu/~mln/
